This cycling sponsorship is not the first for Real Insurance.  The company currently sponsors the Real Insurance Point Score Series which runs weekly from January 11 to March 29 at Heffron Park, Maroubra, Sydney.

Each week the Series Leader and Most Aggressive Rider are awarded jerseys with the highest point scorer awarded in the final race on March 29.

The series attracts many visiting international teams, National Champions, Olympic medalists and individual competitors.

The series is conducted in handicap format with grades A, B and C over fifteen laps of the Heffron Bike Track circuit (approx 2km). Cash prizes are awarded each week to the first five over the line plus two grade prizes.

Theo Grobler from Real Bike Insurance said: “We are excited and proud to be sponsoring these major cycling events and to be supporting development and participation in this great sport.”

“Our Real Bike insurance package is designed for people who are passionate about cycling. It not only covers bicycles, but also income protection, personal accidents, which extends across Australia and New Zealand.

“The standalone bike insurance package includes all sorts of real-riding-life situations, including theft, accidental/crash damage whilst in use, including cycling events.”
