How to claim

We hope you never have to make a claim – but if you do, we’ve made it as easy as possible for you. Simply follow the steps below, or call us if you need help.

Step 1
Stay safe
  • Make sure you and your family are safe and your car is secure.
  • Call the police if required by the law or your policy.
Step 2
Get ready
  • Get as much information as possible from anyone else involved, including names, addresses, phone numbers, registration plate numbers, makes and models, and insurers. And if you have your phone or a camera handy, it's a good idea to take some photos of the incident.
  • Have your own licence details ready.

If you can't contact us, do everything you can to prevent any further damage, including having your car towed to the nearest safe place.

Life, Funeral and Income Protection

Step 1
Call or Email
  • You or your nominated beneficiary (which could be your next of kin or the executor of your Will) simply have to call us on 1300 737 697 or email service@reallifecover.com.au to let us know that you will be lodging a claim.
Step 2
Speak to a Real Agent
  • A dedicated claims agents will be assigned to your claim, and will contact you to take you through the claims process.
Step 3
Complete the forms
  • Complete all forms provided by your claims agent, and send them along with all required documentation to Real Insurance.
Step 4
Relax, knowing you're taken care of.
  • All valid claims will be assessed once the necessary documents are received and paid without unnecessary delay.
