How can I pay for my policy?
We offer direct debit from either a bank account or credit card. By taking payments automatically from your account or credit card, you don't need to worry about calling us to pay for your policy- it's done for you!
What payment frequencies do you have?
You can pay each year on an annual basis, or, if eligible, you can pay by the month at no extra charge.
What if I don't want to give my payment details over the phone?
Please be assured that all information provided to us, by you, is secured against unauthorised access as per our Privacy Policy. Your bank details will only be used for the payment of your policy.
Do you accept American Express or Diners card?
For credit card payments, we accept MasterCard and Visa only. If it's easier we can also debit directly from your specified bank account.
What happens if my payment date falls on a weekend or public holiday?
If your payment date happens to fall on a weekend or public holiday, the payment will be taken out on the next business day.
Can I pay my premium fortnightly?
We do not offer fortnightly payments, but we do offer annual and monthly payments. The great news is we don't charge you any extra if you pay by the month.
Does it cost any extra if I pay by the month?
No, we don't charge you any extra to pay your policy by the month. At Real Insurance, we pride ourselves on the fact that we don't have any hidden admin fees on our policies.
Can I delay my monthly payment?
We are unable to delay payments. If however, during your policy period, one of your payments is unsuccessful, you have 30 days from your payment due date to arrange payment before your policy is cancelled. If your policy is being renewed, you will have 14 days from your payment due date to make this payment.
