Comprehensive cover protects you against the following:

If your vehicle is damaged or stolen during the insurance period we'll either:

• Repair your vehicle to the state it was in prior to the accident;
• Pay you the reasonable cost of repairing your vehicle at the time of damage or theft;
• Pay you the market or agreed value of your vehicle depending on the cover selected by you and shown on your insurance certificate.

Additional Benefits

If we accept and pay a claim for damage to your vehicle the following additional benefits may be included:

• Towing costs: Reasonable costs for towing your car to the nearest safe place;
• Trailer and caravan cover: Up to $1000 benefit;
• Personal property: Up to $500 benefit for personal property - belonging to you and family normally residing with you –which is damaged in the same accident;
• Essential repairs: Up to $300 for immediate repairs needed to get your car in roadworthy condition;
• Emergency travel and accommodation: Up to $500 for necessary travel to return home or emergency accommodation if your accident occurred more than 200km from your home and your car cannot be driven.

With Real Insurance Comprehensive cover you also have the option to extend your cover to include excess- free windscreen cover and hire car cover.
