the life insurance for older people (over 60) is unsustainable as they live longer and premiums get larger every year according to age this, therefor puts real strain on there government pensions which are already tight due to very large cost of living expences and very small increases in pension payments. this was the only reason i have had to give up my cover which i have had for seven years . i know i have taken a big loss because of what i have contributed already and would suggest there are a lot of people in my position who have done the same or will do in the near future as the policy gets dearer and dearer. Maybe as a suggestion you could let people in at a smaller insured rate so it encourages them to keep their policy but. well in to old age? But . i would suggest these offers are made with the real understanding that a very large number of the participents will opt out as there premiums increse markadly according to there pension incomes unfortunately this has happened to me so, i suppose you could say it has been a regretable experience for me one that i thought early on that i needed to keep going even knowing the pitfalls just so as i would not leave my family with nothing.but, as i have said with the premiums rising as they do! i would be paying another $200 per month in seven years! that well outstrips any increase in the pension.so, i get out now and take the loss or stay in and take an even bigger loss or, hope i pass a way early on in my policy so as i can provide something for my family which was allways the intension from the start. dissapointed very learnt a lesson deffinately!! thanks.

Competitive, better than other companies but due to a very harrowing experience would definitely not use your company
The first consultant I spoke to was very helpful and friendly. Went through everything with me ensuring I fully understood the policy. He gets the 2 stars.... However when I rang to cancel during the cooling off period due to having to go overseas at very short notice and not having enough time to compare the policy that was sent to me with my existing policy with another company it was a nightmare. I eventually had to be very sharp with the consultant who would not accept that I did not want the policy at that time and would review when I returned. I explained that I did not want money taken from my account (I was told I had to give details of my Bank Account to receive a copy of he proposed policy) as I did not want to proceed. The consultant did not listen and kept insisting that she could delay the policy for a month and no funds would be taken until then. I told her several times I don't want the policy but she kept saying "this is what I can do for you" until in the end I was really angry and told her I DO NOT WANT THE POLICY It was a very long harrowing experience. Very poor!!!
