Insurance costs are on the rise again, with car and home-and-contents premium prices increasing by as much as 10 per cent this year. John Kavanagh looks for good value insurance, including insurance claims experience, stating
"When consumer finance research group Infochoice was preparing to launch a car insurance comparison service on its website earlier this year, it decided to look into this question and so it commissioned a customer service survey.
"There is a perception that paying less means compromising on quality but in our survey, lower-cost challengers scored on par with the big players for key customer satisfaction indicators," says an Infochoice financial services analyst, David Lalich.
Real Insurance and Budget Direct were two of the car insurers that scored well in the research."
