Parkinson’s NSW annual Fundraising Golf Day had its biggest day ever this year, with over 120 players participating. The team from Real Needs — Andrea, Danny, Frank and Suzie — went along and did their bit for the charity.
Suzie and Andrea sold ‘chipping for Parkinsons’ tickets. In this game, players had to try and chip three balls into a little dinghy on the water. The team managed to raise $1,000 for the day. Frank and Danny helped out by being dedicated witnesses at the 14th hole, which they enjoyed thoroughly!
Overall, the Golf Day raised a grand total of $52,000, which was the largest amount ever collected from this event. Parkinson’s NSW expressed their gratitude to the Real Needs team for their support, effort and enthusiasm.
