Operators were nice, but frustratingly repetitive on...

The purchase process was horrible as described in the customer experience. I cannot offer feedback on the quality of the purchased product yet as I have not had to use my policy yet (and hopefully never need to).

I had to call up 3 separate times to the call center as I was not ready to purchase on the initial call, however each time I called they could not find the additional driver I asked to add onto the policy. They had to repeat this process over and over. Also, I received a quote with a link to buy it later, but the link took me to the website to start all over again and answer all questions again. I already had a firm quote with a premium provided. Why on earth would I need to start from scratch again on the website and fill out everything again. Keep in mind this all happened within about 2 hours so it is not like I left it for days and therefore they needed to quote again. So I called them back and guess what, they had to ask all the same questions again and repeat the entire script again. All the duty of disclosure etc again and again. The last call was just to add the current speedometer reading to be able to then buy now, but I had to answer all other questions again and once again add the additional driver. The operators were nice on the phone, but what a mess with the system.

Simply the service was hassle free, very quick, provided the cover I was after at the best price for me. Also, setting the whole thing up on line was easy for a luddite like me!

I rated this purely on ease of setting up insurance for my car. It was hassle free, quick, simple and provided me with what I needed.

Very disappointing tried twice to do quote online,when mentioning this to real they were not to worried.I had trouble understanding my quote person and I had to tell him which drop box to use, not to mention how long it took to do a simple quote,with trying twice to do online quote and using a quote person it took over an hour not good enough Real.

I was happy with the car insurance I purchased and the price was very reasonable

The operator I spoke to on the phone was very helpful, explained everything perfectly and made organising my first insurance as simple as possible. He also had an amazing sense of humour!

Eventually got the required result after an hour on the phone trying to explain the situation. You need to improve the system functionality around the method of insuring based on Km's. I had to cancel my policy and set up a new one due to the system limitations.

Be upfront with excess options

Big difference from initial quote to the final rate but took a lot of questions on my part. You nearly lost a customer

The operator had a thick accent and we both struggled to understand each other. He didn't go over the excess options. When I asked whhy the rate was so much more than previous years he said it was because of my new (second hand) car. After accepting I then remembered I could change the excess and had to go through the process again to get a better rate. Happy now, but he should have been more upfront with options.
