unable to comment as no claims but based on the service re Certificate of Currency I am considering whether I will continue insuring with Real Insurance
Took out policy online 2/4/18 paid by credit card then rang (Emanuelle)and requested Certificate of Currency. 3/4/18 received Certificate of Currency Pending Payment - this was useless as lender would not accept it. 11/4 2.30pm rang spoke to Oddette told her I need it urgently as settlement was 13/4. She said guaranteed in 24hours but would request urgent. 2pm 12/4 still not received so rang AGAIN spoke to Emanuelle he could not explain why I had not received it, also said he had no way of contracting the team who issue certificates to see where it was and when I would receive it. (Not good enough - surely when a customer wants a quick answer a simple phone call would clear things up). He requested yet another one - so now have to wait another 24 hours holding my house settlement up. 20 minutes on the phone with no resolution - BAD SERVICE. I have multiple policies with Real Insurance and this the first time to contact so I wonder how bad the service would be if I ever had to make a claim.

If they listen to customers better it would be great,I got home insurance and asked for payment to be taken out today,still not happening.So now shopping around for another insurer.

fair charge for fair service
the telephone contact is very good (=experienced CSO's); the website for quote is clearly set out (what you are covered for; what is included or extra) i.e. dos not try to trick you; short but meaningful explanations; a lot of the docs are on the website so one can download and read it

The price for landlord's insurance was competitive and easy to apply for online. I hope I never have need to claim.
They are easy to deal with and offer very competitive terms. You can pay by the month at no extra cost. You can call to amend something and they are very helpful.

The few times that I have had to contact Real Insurance I have always had very good customer service. When I have had a claim I have had promp and compassionate responses .
