I originally phoned just to change the vehicle insured only to be told the premium would cost more since it wasn’t a new policy purchased online. It was cheaper and easier to cancel the existing policy and start a new one online myself. Obviously there is little to no interest in looking after existing customers which is highly disappointing.

Charged me for two policies on one vehicle.
Horrendous. Dealing with call centers who cannot action things correctly - over charging and not processing refunds correctly. Had I not checked this and followed it up twice, Real Insurance would have stolen $600 from me for nothing! I’m heading to the regulator now.

The customer service staff member was absolutely lovely and completely competent while changing details over the phone which was quite a complex task as circumstances had changed a lot. She was patient, calm, confident and organised as well as polite and courteous.
